Faye Callahan

About

My name is Faye Callahan, I’m an Agent Supervisor for the State of Ohio, Division of Liquor Control’s Investigative Services Section.  I’ve worked in different areas of law enforcement my entire adult life and have had the privilege of working for the State of Ohio for 28 years.  I started my law enforcement career working as a Military Police Officer for the United States Army and Ohio National Guard where I served before, during and after 9/11.  After leaving the Army, I entered the civilian world working as a uniformed police officer, then quickly moved on to the Ohio Investigative Unit working as a plain-clothes Enforcement Agent with a heavy emphasis on food stamp fraud and alcohol related violations.  In 2008, I transitioned over to the Division of Liquor Control’s, Investigative Services Section where I began working as a Compliance Agent with a heavy focus on the laws pertaining to the alcohol manufacturers and distributors.  In February of 2021, I became an Agent Supervisor overseeing special projects, special investigations, internal and external industry education and training, as well as supervising Investigative Services Compliance Agents throughout Ohio who inspect and/or investigate over 28,000 issued liquor permit premises.  I am incredibly grateful to work for the best team on the planet, for all the outstanding people who’ve mentored me along the way and to have such a dynamic and rewarding career.
