Alcohol Compliance Training-Vermont
Monday, August 31, 2026 7:00 AM - Wednesday, September 2, 2026 12:00 PM (EDT)
Description
The National Alcohol Beverage Control Association and the National Liquor Law Enforcement Association, in collaboration with the Vermont Department of Liquor and Lottery, are proud to host the Alcohol Compliance Training (ACT). As our communities continue to evolve, so do the challenges associated with alcohol-related incidents. Professionally trained law enforcement officers, regulatory agents, and compliance personnel are essential to protecting the safety, health, and well-being of the public. Alcohol laws govern the production, distribution, sale, and consumption of alcoholic beverages, and they play a critical role in maintaining public order and responsible commerce. Because these laws can be complex and vary significantly across jurisdictions, it is vital that officers and regulators understand the nuances of enforcement and compliance. Without proper training, inconsistent application of the law can occur, potentially eroding public trust and community safety. ACT is designed to provide practical, up-to-date training for professionals involved in alcohol regulation and enforcement. This program is open to all law enforcement, regulatory agents, licensing authorities, fire officials, zoning personnel, health departments, public health professionals, and other stakeholders with responsibilities related to alcohol compliance and public safety.
