'Uncorking the Truth: Vermont’s DTC Alcohol Shipping Compliance Pilot – Results & Regulatory Insights' The Vermont Department of Liquor and Lottery (DLL) launched a Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) Shipping Compliance Pilot Program to address rising concerns over unlawful alcohol shipments in the state. This presentation outlines the project's goals, methodology, key findings, and the implications for public safety and regulatory enforcement. Through controlled purchases and delivery monitoring, DLL found that none of the 40 alcohol shipments received during the pilot were fully compliant with Vermont law, and two deliveries were made directly to minors without ID checks.
